Laura’s destination wedding in Tuscany

It’s no surprise that Italy is a great place to celebrate a destination wedding, especially in May when the weather is warm and sunny but still not hot and humid. And Tuscany with its hills, green fields, endless sky and cypresses is an ideal place for a wedding.

My beautiful bride Laura from Manchester together with her husband were dreaming of a wedding like this. For them it was a romantic escape from the rain and the grey sky, together with some of their friends and relatives.

We met one day before at their villa in Tuscany and did the trial. Laura wanted a very soft and natural updo and a very radiant and fresh bridal make up. For me it was easy to understand what she wanted as she had clear ideas what suited her best. So on the wedding day I came with my team to the villa to do Laura’s and Laura’s bridesmaids hair and make up.

As Laura’s hair are thin I used hot rolls to give it a nice root volume and create a very soft effect. When the florist brought her flowers, he brought also some for the hair. They were amazing, all small and of different colours from pink, purple and violet. With blond hair they created a very beautiful contrast. For the make up I used a lot of highlighters for cheekbones, neck and shoulders from Huda Beauty highlighting palette, Giorgio Armani Lasting Silk foundation for a radiant and long-lasting look, a very think like of a dark brown gel eyeliner by Mac and surely single false eyelashes to make the eyes more expressive. For the lips I used long lasting lip paint by Huda Beauty and a lip balm by Mac on the top.
